Welcome or welcome back to the game! This page probably isn't necessary (I just reformatted it a bit and kept it from the start of early access just in case). I think the game itself will guide you but just in case this page is here. I know anxiety sometimes makes it hard with the whole "I don't want to bother people" thing and we're all about helping each other in Paranoid. In case it helps to state it, you can message me anytime with any questions. Until then, the guide! :)

How do I find the neighbourhood?

In your micro menu bar, (between the buttons for guild chat and the quest log there is a little house). Click on that and then click "start tutorial". This should teleport you directly to your factions neighbourhood. Don't worry if you want a house in the other one, either as well or instead, we'll get to that.

If, for whatever reason, this doesn't work you can go to the portal room in your factions capital (Stormwind or Orgrimmar) and click the portal for Founder's Point/Razorwind Shores.

Upon reaching the neighbourhood zone you should automatically get a new quest to talk to the steward. This will guide you to the NPC/town part. When you want to purchase your house talk to the steward and say "I want to see more options" and they'll give you an option to open up the "house finder".

How do I claim my plot?

This 'house finder' is now always there for you. If you click on the house icon in your micro menu, that is how you can find it.

• For Founder's Point, the first neighbourhood listed on the left should be Paranoid's. I think it has our guild crest on it, and obviously the name (The Anxious Isle).
• For Razorwind Shores, we have a charter neighbourhood. You can visit anytime, by right-clicking on 'Herà' in the guild roster, and clicking 'view houses'. This will allow you to teleport to the neighbourhood. However, in order to join it as a resident, and purchase a plot, you will need an invitation. Simply message Herà (or one of my many alts in game), or tag me on discord (@galactic_pirates), or send me a PM through the forum. State the name and realm of the character you want to initially purchase the plot. As soon as I can I'll invite you, and Paranoid Bay will appear in Razorwind Shores house finder.

Make sure that the correct neighbourhood is selected (The Anxious Isle/Paranoid Bay), and the map in the house finder will be of our neighbourhood. The houses that are darker brown, with like a little person emblem are taken. The vacant ones are cream, and clickable, and you can teleport directly to them.

To be honest I would first recommend taking a tour of the neighbourhood. The quest itself will suggest you do this, and there's a bit of flavour story about the origins of the NPC's who founded the place. If you don't care for the flavour that's cool, but do fly about because the neighbourhoods do vary quite a lot in aesthetic.

For The Anxious Isle there are two layers (essentially another set of the same 55 plots). You can change which layer you are looking at, with the dropdown menu on the top right of the house finder map. Once you have found the plot you want to make home, at the plots edge there will be a glowing marker. Click on that and click purchase and you have now claimed your plot!

I want to move. Can I do that?

Absolutely! Moving is free. The inside of your house will remain identical, the outside will also move but might look a bit weird if the layout of your new plot is different. Anyway, it's very easy. All you do is find the vacant plot that you want to move to, click the glowing marker and say you want to move.
