I hadn’t updated the front page since Midnight dropped because March both lasted forever and went in a blink. Anyway, I have been a bad guild/raid leader as I forgot to get any screenshots, but it’s fine because despite the misleading title (hey it’s the 1st, I thought it might be funny) we haven’t slain any bosses on heroic yet.

Buuuuut we have cleared normal and I am proud of us for that. Midnight has 3 raids.

• Opening night we got 3/6 in Voidspire, on Monday we downed 4 and 5. We got 6 to the last phase but couldn’t quite get there.
• The following week we started off with a phenomenal oneshot of Dreamrift’s only boss. Then did a full 5/6 clear of Voidspire!
• Monday, week two, brought us another oneshot clearing Voidspire and then what to do? Raid 3 didn’t open until today.
• So we poked heroic (possibly one of the earliest times we have ever done so) and learned that heroic is beefy. We were hitting enrage on Voidspire’s first boss with about 25% left. We had a stab at Dreamrift too with similar results. Nothing more gear and a few set bonuses won’t cure 🙂
• Which brings us to today’s victory! Opening night and we downed both bosses in March on Quel’danas!

I’m particularly proud of us for today to be honest because the final boss was intimidating, on the face of it very confusing. But we persevered and context is king and we made sense of the tactics and made it happen.
