I have to be honest I nearly lost faith. I didn’t think it could be done. We wiped on Phase 1 of this fight so many times, it was rather soul-destroying.

But look – look at it!! We have a kill screenshot and I’m just so dang proud of everyone.

The line of symbols was tricky. World markers and raid warnings helped and eventually what once felt impossible, because very possible.

98 wipes before this boss fell to the might of Paranoid and we added another Curve trophy to the guild’s glory. There have been other fights that have demanded similar dedication (Sylvanas in Shadowlands comes to mind), but L’ura feels particularly satisfying. Maybe it’s because I’m still on a high of “we finally did it!!!!!”, maybe it’s because she finally fell on the first pull of the night!! (seriously I’m not kidding, it was a oneshot). Or maybe it’s because I’m raid leader this time and I was desperately worried about morale and I’m so relieved (and so proud!!! of this team).

Lesson learned. Never doubt Paranoid’s might, there is nothing we can’t conquer together!
